This involves: general practitioner (GP), nurse practitioners, nurses, specialist, allied health professionals, or pharmacist providing a patient, guardian or carer with a telehealth consultation via phone or video.   • assessing, maintaining or improving an individual’s physical or psychological health;

Phenix Health may impose a fee for the costs of copying, mailing, labor and supplies associated with your request. How we protect your information

We adopt appropriate data collection, storage and processing practices and security measures to protect against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure or destruction of your personal information, username, password, transaction information and data stored on our site.

Technical and data security encryption FAǪs
  • Data security: All clinical data is stored on the server, it is based on DYG (download as you go) Data in motion and at rest is encrypted with a 256bit layer SSL encryption.
    All passwords are currently encrypted in MD5# which is secure one way encryption (password cannot be recovered if lost, only reset).
  • Data sovereignty: All health records are owned by the patient and are only hosted by PH, and are under patient’s control, our servers are based in Australia, so Australian e-Health Records (EHR) rules areUnder corporate / group subscription, any patient signing up or added into their network, is managed and controlled and owned by the organization (Primary), PH is only responsible to host this data.
  • Scope of stored data: All data pertaining to a definition of EHR is stored into PH Australian server, which includes doctor notes, history, device data readings, medications, reports, transaction history, personal preferences (pharmacy details, treating doctor).
  • Payments: billing process and roles, merchant gateways and security (particularly if retaining data PH is well integrated with Paypal’s We are using Paypal for this, and credit card information will be saved on the PayPal’ site, not on our site and PayPal is more secure in itself, we will encrypt the payment request with MD 5 security token which is again in encrypted format. No financial data is stored on PH servers.
  • Hardware support: PH is not a Windows The hardware support for medical devices extends to iOS and Android, PH uses native software stack to integrate Bluetooth devices.
  • Technical support for users (particularly after-hours): Although great care and detail has been put in while designing PH, we believe any technical issues which may present by end users would only be device pairing and minor questions, for which we have an extensive step by step tutorial videos built into the app. In addition our administration centre is available for 24/7-365 service Should they be more complicated and are required to be taken back to the developer we can provide a 6 hr turnaround response.

All health professionals are engaged with Phenix Health as contractors. Phenix Health checks their qualifications, AHPRA registration status and compliance and relevant and necessary professional liability insurances. Phenix Health employees are covered under Workcover. Phenix Health always has current professional liability and products insurance to cover our virtual health consults. We take all reasonable steps to ensure that our employees and contractors comply with the recording and sharing of our users personal information.

Changes to this privacy policy

Phenix Health has the discretion to update this privacy policy at any time. When we do, we will revise the updated date at the bottom of this page. We encourage Users to frequently check this page for any changes to stay informed about how we are helping to protect the personal information we collect. You acknowledge and agree that it is your responsibility to review this privacy policy periodically and become aware of modifications.
