Billing Policy
Telehealth 24/7 with GPs and NPs for Consultations for treatments utilising Natural Therapies which may include Scripts, Pathology, Radiology, Referrals and Medical Certificates.
CannaTelehealth follows a combination of mixed and private billing policies.
We utilise both GPs & Nurse Practitioners to provide consultations.
All consultations are either via Video or Phone we offer no face to face consultations.
Fee Schedule
Nurse Practitioner (NP):
Out of pocket costs below are applicable if you have a valid Medicare or DVA Card. Medicare is billed time based. Take into consideration that the consultation includes Healthcare professionals Consultation, Writing up clinical notes, Reports, Application to the TGA for your SAS B application, and Sending your electronic script and TGA approvals to your preferred pharmacy.
Medicare rebates will be paid directly into the account of the patient attached to the Medicare Card.
Otherwise fees will be Private Billed only at the following GP rates as outlined below.

***Schedule 8 drugs – Schedule 8 Controlled Drug medications and drugs of addiction can not be prescribed via telehealth with the exception of Medicinal Cannabis (prescribed by AP and SAS B accredited GPs and NPs under TGA). This includes codeine, S8 drugs, opioids or sleeping tablets. It is inappropriate to prescribe any such medication in this manner due to the potential for addiction and misuse. It is not possible for our GPs to provide any S8 medications, please do not proceed to book a video consultation if you are seeking such medication as your consultation fee with the GP will not be refunded.
Our GPs and NPs will call from a ‘No Caller ID’ to your mobile. Our Triage team will call you from either a 07,02 or 03 prefix.
